Welcome to my Thoughts!

Hi There! I created this site to help me heal from an experience at my former place of employment. However, the situation I was in over there no longer has any bearing. My Dad was diagnosed in January of 2008 with Advanced Prostate Cancer. That has superceded ANY other situation. Nothing seems as worrisome anymore. He's so special to me and it breaks my heart that he has this battle before him. So, as this site was developed to help me release my mind from the robbery at gunpoint (at the store I worked at) that occured in December of 2007, it is now my place to vent and keep tabs on my Dad.

Wonderful visit! *.* June 30, 2008

Had an absolutely wonderful weekend. My half-sister, Tammy, and her son Mick came down with his girlfriend to visit with my parents, my husband and me. We had a wonderful time. It was so nice! There's so much to it and I can not write it as there is just so much emotion involved. I wish the weekend was longer. :D This meant the world to our Dad and it certainly did for the rest of us, too. :)

Sweet Surprise! *.* March 11, 2008

Oh my Gosh! Yesterday, I received the sweetest most special gift ever. To bring you up to speed... I am a handmade jewelry designer. I've not been able to make jewelry in quite some time due to finances and other things. Well, my friend Sara got together with some other friends and they decided to surprise me with a donation of various bead related items and they even donated money. It was such a touching moment for me. I never really know how people feel about my jewelry and to have all these people back me up... I'm just speechless. My friend, Sara, also made me a beautiful dreamcatcher. Just her taking the time out of her life to make that for me was unbelievable for me so you can imagine how the check and the donated beads made/make me feel. I just hope I don't let them down. I'm busy working on designs so I hope it will work out. lol :)

Great News! *.* March 7, 2008

My Dad's PSA level has dropped dramatically! We are so hopeful from this! A normal PSA should be a 5 or 6. My Dad's was 354 in January of 2008! Guess what it is as of today?? 22.05!!! Yes, it's still high but it's not as high as it was in January! We are so encouraged by this latest information. We just feel that much more convinced we are doing the right thing for him. :)
